Renato Tavares will be in Norman and Commerce, Oklahoma June 2nd and 3rd, 2007. Renato is a mutiple time Naga, Grapplers Quest and Pan American Champion. He is also a Masters World Champion. He has fouught MMA in Absolute Fighting Championship, Deep ( Japan and others ). He is regarded as a great competitior and Master Instructor who got his black belt from Carlson Gracie and has more than 30 years of training. June 2nd Seminar Location: Titan Martial Arts 1628 W. Full Day BJJ Seminar

This is a four hour seminar and the level of instruction can also be tailored (anywhere from introductory to advanced, depending on the level of previous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience of the attendees). The fee for a single session seminar is a flat $2,000 plus Travel and Reasonable Expenses. The Full Day seminar is conducted as two two-hour sessions, which can be held both on the same day (with a break in between) or on two consecutive days.

Mixed Martial Arts Seminars

Renato Tavares MMA Seminar- this is a four hour seminar with Renato Tavares and the level of instruction can also be tailored (anywhere from introductory to advanced, depending on the level of previous MMA experience of the attendees). The fee for an Renato Tavares MMA seminar is a flat $2,500 plus Travel and Reasonable Expenses. The MMA seminar is conducted as two two-hour sessions, which can be held both on the same day (break in between) or on two consecutive days.

Self Defense Seminars

Renato Tavares Self Defense Seminar - this is a two hour seminar with Renato Tavares created specifically for women with minimal or no previous martial arts experience. The fee for an Renato Tavares Self Defense Seminar is a flat $1,500 plus Travel and Reasonable Expenses.

As many of you know, the demand for the style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has grown the world over.

There are literally thousands of techniques and details that have been developed since 1925 with over four generations refining the techniques that Carlos Gracie introduced.

The system of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has taught FBI, Green Berets, Law Enforcement, Private Security, Navy SEAL teams (including snipers), CIA agents, SWAT teams, Fire Department and others.

Many have learned the practical use of Jiu-Jitsu techniques the world over, but to instruct in the system's details is another discipline all together.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the official hand-to-hand combat system of the United States military and law enforcement agencies all around the country.

Founded on easy and instinctive movements, this reality-based method is intended to transmit practical self-defense in the shortest doable time. Our courses will teach you the defenses against the most common street attacks.

Law enforcement training is not a sport strategy or patient style, but more of an aggressive style to subdue, pin either standing or on the ground to arrest and detain.

Travel Expenses:

Renato Tavares Black Belt travel expenses (airfare and lodgings) must also be paid by the seminar host. Note that the organization that hosts the seminar will need to charge somewhat more than the fees listed here, in order to cover this extra expense.

Private Lessons:

If the seminar hosts make arrangements in advance (and/or if there is extra time available during the trip) Renato Tavares is always happy to give private lessons for a $100.00 per lesson fee.
